Microneedling

What is Microneedling?

As minimally invasive procedures continue to evolve, we are happy to introduce our newest procedure called microneedling! Microneedling is a mechanical exfoliation otherwise called “collagen induction therapy” and can be used to treat scars, fine lines, reduce pore size, and hyperpigmentation.

How does it work?

The idea behind this treatment is to create a controlled injury on the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production leaving skin thicker and plumper. The device creates microchannels in the skin that stimulates collagen and growth factors. Topical products are then able to absorb and penetrate much more effectively leaving you with brighter more rejuvenated skin!

How many treatments should I have?

We recommend a series of 4 customized microneedling treatments spaced 2 weeks apart. It takes around 4 weeks for new collagen to be produced; final results will be seen in 4 months.

Am I a candidate?

Microneedling can be beneficial for all skin types to target fine lines, wrinkles, acne scaring, and pigmentation. It can be done on the face, neck and body. There is no downtime, and in 24 hours you’re on your way to healthy happy skin!
