What is Vitalize Peel™?
The Vitalize Peel™ incorporates Retinoic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acids with Resorcinol and other active cosmeceutical ingredients to create one of the safest, strongest half-hour chemical peels available.
This renewal process has been clinically proven to help pigmentation problems (such as age spots) fade and stimulate collagen production in the cells underneath. Resulting from as little as one peel, you will notice a renewed appearance, including:
- Dramatic improvement in epidermal texture
- A lessening of age spots, freckles and superficial pigmentation resulting from photo damage
- Reduction of enlarged pores
What can I expect during my peel?
Our skin care professional will cleanse any area where the Vitalize Peel™ is to be applied with a prepping solution. This will be followed by the peeling solution. You may experience some mild tingling or warmth for 1 to 3 minutes. Retinoic Acid may be applied at this time. When this is done, a yellow tinge will appear on the skin, which will disappear within an hour of the procedure.
How long will this take?
From start to finish, the entire procedure should take approximately 20 minutes. Many patients receive this procedure during their lunch hour.
What can I expect after my peel?
Most patients leave Gardner Dermatology looking healthy and fresh. Any redness or discoloration can easily be covered with makeup and most activities can resume right away. Within 48 hours you will notice a mild flaking that can be controlled with moisturizers.
When can I schedule my next peel?
